H.E Mr. Nazari Meets Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia

On Friday, May 1, 2025, H.E Mr. Ali Akbar Nazari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Vietnam and accredited to the Kingdom of Cambodia, met with H.E. Im Sithol, Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia.

 H.E Mr. Nazari highlighted the considerable potential for cooperation between Iran and Cambodia, particularly in the field of agricultural products. He stressed the importance of finalizing and signing two Memorandums of Understanding on agricultural cooperation and animal health and veterinary quarantine, which could play a significant role in facilitating and advancing bilateral cooperation.

 H.E. Mr. Im Sithol welcomed the expansion of agricultural cooperation and expressed support for the finalization of the relevant documents. He stated that the necessary instructions would be issued to the relevant departments to accelerate the process.
