To the Esteemed Iranian Community in Vietnam,

In the early hours of Friday, 13 June 2025 (23 Khordad 1404), the illegitimate, occupying, and criminal Zionist regime perpetrated a blatant act of military aggression against the sovereign territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. By violating Iran’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty, this regime launched a series of criminal attacks targeting multiple locations, including residential areas in Tehran and other cities. As a result of this heinous act and flagrant breach of international law, a number of our esteemed scientists, senior military commanders, and innocent civilians were martyred.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Hanoi strongly condemns this rogue and criminal act by the Zionist regime. We extend our heartfelt condolences and deep sympathy to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the honorable families of the martyrs, and the noble people of Iran.

These attacks constitute a grave breach of Article 2(4) of the United Nations Charter, representing an unlawful act of aggression against a sovereign Member State of the United Nations. In accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter, the Islamic Republic of Iran possesses the inherent right of self-defense. The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, fully prepared and vigilant, will respond decisively and prudently at the appropriate time in defense of the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

While reaffirming its legitimate and inalienable right to respond in a measured and deterrent manner to this flagrant aggression and war crime, the Islamic Republic of Iran calls upon all independent governments and peace-seeking members of the international community to unequivocally condemn this provocative and barbaric act. We urge them to take urgent, concrete, and coordinated measures to restrain this reckless adventurism that poses a serious and unprecedented threat to international peace and security.

Undoubtedly, the Iranian nation remains resolute and unwavering in its defense of national dignity, security, and territorial integrity. This unlawful and criminal act will not remain unanswered.
